Red Futures - Level 1 (4.4 - 8yrs) at Langford Tennis Club, BIGGLESWADE. Level 1 - Beginner Ideal for beginners starting their tennis journey. Focus is on developing agility, balance and coordination (ABC’s), alongside basic racket and ball skills. Sessions are fun, active, and designed to build confidence. Focus: Movement, racket control, throwing & catching, basic rallying. CLOTHING / RACKETS Children must wear sports clothing and clean non-marking trainers. Please bring a tennis racket if possible (loan rackets available and sanitised). Bring enough water for the session. CHILDCARE VOUCHERS / TAX-FREE PAYMENTS To pay via vouchers or the government tax-free scheme, use your provider account and reference your child’s name and order number. Orange/Green Futures (8 - 11yrs) at Langford Tennis Club, BIGGLESWADE. Orange/ Green Futures (8-11 year olds) This group is designed for players progressing from Red or Orange ball, or those adapting to the full-size court. Sessions focus on developing key technical skills, movement patterns, and rally consistency as players transition through Orange to Green ball stages. Focus: Control, consistency, serve & return, technique under pressure, movement, and simple tactics for full-court play. Junior Tennis (11 - 16yrs) at Langford Tennis Club, BIGGLESWADE. Junior Tennis – Ages 11–16 Our Junior Tennis group is designed for players aged 11–16 who want to develop their skills, improve their confidence and enjoy playing tennis in a friendly, supportive environment. Sessions will focus on: Developing reliable groundstrokes, serves and volleys Improving movement, coordination and court positioning Learning singles and doubles tactics Building rally and match-play confidence Fun games, challenges and competitive points Players will be grouped and challenged according to their experience and ability, making the sessions suitable for both developing players and those who have played tennis before. All equipment can be provided, although players are welcome to bring their own racket.
