Toddler Ballet

Toddler Ballet (21mth - 2.8yrs) at Biddenham Village Hall, Biddenham. Your child's ballet journey commences with our fun but structured toddler classes. The stimulating classes offer a secure and happy introduction to the world of dance! Mum's or dad's join in the class with their little ones and assist them where necessary. General Ideally your child should arrive about 5 minutes early so they can settle into the hall space and meet Karen before the class. The classes are conducted in a fun but structured environment to a combination of children’s and classical music. It does sometimes take a few weeks for the children to settle into the classes, particularly with the younger children or if they are fairly shy, however once you have attended, you will know if the classes are right for her. COVID 19 safety measures We will be applying all necessary Covid-19 safety measures as stipulated at the time to ensure that the children, their parents and our teachers remain safe. Our teachers will maintain strict studio hygiene measures disinfecting surfaces, door handles etc. In classes where mums or nannies are attending they will be required to wear face masks. The children and our teachers will not wear face masks. Uniform For the FIRST TRIAL class your child should just attend in something comfortable like shorts/leggings, t-shirt, soft shoes or non-slip socks. If they already have a uniform from another school then that would be ideal for the trial session. AFTER the first class is you wish to continue, you should try and get the uniform as soon as possible as it makes the children feel as if they belong in the class. Children's Ballet | Ages 4 1/2 - 6 years (4.5 - 6yrs) at Biddenham Village Hall, Biddenham. These fun filled classes provide an inspirational introduction to the world of dance. The structured classes teach the basic disciplines of ballet in a friendly environment to the accompaniment of children's and classical music. Our beautiful ballerina teachers are all classically trained and have danced professionally. They all dress like ballerinas and have been chosen for their gentle and caring nature with the children. The emphasis is always on the children having a fun time!

Children's Ballet | Ages 3 - 4 years (3 - 4yrs) at Biddenham Village Hall, Biddenham. Our creative ballet classes provide a stimulating start for children wishing to experience the joy of dance in a fun but structured environment. There is a strong emphasis on theatrical performance from Karen who brings all her theatrical experience to her classes. Having danced professionally with several ballet companies in the UK and Europe, she has also performed in prestigious West End shows like "Phantom of the Opera" where she performed a "Meg Giry". Karen actively dances and demonstrates with the children ensuring that each class is taught in a stimulating but instructive manor.
