Here at GC DanceCompany we introduce ballet from the age of two years old. This is where we teach them about musicality and basic techniques in ballet. Varies travelsteps and positions will help with posture and alignment. Expand their minds with creative expression. Great class to introduce them to the world of dance.
Primary Ballet (5 - 8yrs) at Maes y coed Community Centre, Cardiff.
Now having developed the basics of how to move your body in dance, in our Primary Ballet classes we introduce them to the early stages of ballet syllabus. Learning different arm and feet positions coordination and stamina alongside musicality and creativity while making the class fun and engaging.
Tap (5 - 12yrs) at Maes y coed Community Centre, Cardiff.
GC Dance introduces you to Tap classes. They will be taught timing, stamina alongside musicality and coordination needed in tap. Rhythms and styles and different exercises such as heel digs and toe taps, flaps and shuffles. This class is a great way for dancers to develop their musical side.
Junior Ballet (grade 1/2) (8 - 10yrs) at Maes y coed Community Centre, Cardiff.
Junior Ballet is suitable for grades 1/2 in ISTD Syllabus. They will start learning, adage and allegro. Free work will also help the dancers to explore different styles in ballet and help with performance and musicality.
