R.A.D Grade 2 Ballet (8.5 - 11.8yrs) at Fusion Arts Academy, East Cowes. We use the Royal Academy of Dancing system of training but also include PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) as much as possible into our lessons which is of huge benefit to our students. Boys Ballet (Teens) (13 - 18.9yrs) at Fusion Arts Academy, East Cowes. This is a recreational boys ballet class, suitable for performers looking to audition for MT / Acting college that would welcome some ballet training. We currently use the IDTA Classical Awards 1 & 2 syllabi.

PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique)

PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) (11 - 18.9yrs) at Fusion Arts Academy, East Cowes. Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative conditioning programme designed to enhance ballet technique through targeted exercises that build core strength, stability, alignment, flexibility and muscle memory. Using equipment such as exercise balls and resistance bands, PBT helps dancers develop a deeper understanding of correct posture and movement patterns, supporting stronger, safer and more controlled dancing. Suitable for a range of ages and abilities, it’s a fantastic complement to regular dancr training. Progressing Ballet Technique is a program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon to help students advance in all dance forms by training muscle memory. In addition to what we teach at Fusion Arts, we also feel this benefits children excelling at other sports for example, Ice Skating / Figure Skating or even Boxing!

Dance is based on ability, not age and so your teacher will know where best to place you once you've had a trial lesson should another class / level be better suited. The age is a guide.
