Maypole Years 1-6 (5 - 11yrs) at Maypole Primary School, Dartford. Football ‘4’ All Coaching Scheme are offering our fun after school football session for boys & girls. Come and have fun and play in our safe football environment, learn new skills, techniques and game understanding with your friends in age appropriate and ability groups. All of our weekly sessions boost children’s confidence and enhances team ethics through small sided games and matches. Ball manipulation is always incorporated into each session developing technique and touch first. All areas of the game covered, from the simple fundamentals to exploring the creative attacking / defending aspects. Players of an outstanding ability can be recommended to our professional clubs. What does your child need? • Football training kit (t-shirt / shorts / football socks) • Tracksuit / sweatshirt in colder weather • Waterproof jacket just in case! • Plastic or rubber studded boots / trainers • Everyone MUST wear shin pads • Bring a cold non-fizzy drink • Finally, a big smile 😊 Do parents need to stay? Once school finishes, children will be sent to the designated area to get ready for the club, they will be supervised by an adult at all times. Parents do not need to be on site until the club finishes (please check times) Bad Weather? (We won’t cancel) Football is played all year around, so we will always try to stay outside and experience different playing conditions, however in the event of bad weather and considering all children’s ages, sessions may have to move inside and play can continue in the school hall, If the hall is out of use we will convert a classroom into a football themed quiz and games room.
