Walking to 2 years gymnastics (10mth - 2yrs) at Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Green. Flyers gymnastics welcomes little athletes to our gymnastics classes. Our toddler classes are designed for approx 1-2 years and are the perfect introduction into gymnastics. Classes are structured and will focus on safely building the foundation skills for floor, beam, bars and vault in a friendly and supportive environment. Classes take place at our dedicated preschool gym with a range of equipment specifically tailored for under 5's. After completing their classes in our toddler class, gymnasts will be able to move up to the 2-3 year old class where we gradually introduce more structure and independence. Parents or guardians are asked participate with their child during the session, helping them them to follow instructions and take part in the activities.

2-3 Years Gymnastics (2 - 3.9yrs) at Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Green. Flyers gymnastics welcomes little athletes to our gymnastics classes. Pre-school structured classes are for ages 2-3 years and are the perfect introduction into gymnastics. Parent & Child Jump & Play (0- 4 years) (0 - 4yrs) at Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Green. Let your little one explore the gym in our jump and play sessions. These sessions offer your child the perfect introduction to the Flyers preschool gym and will provide them with lots of opportunity to freely climb, play, explore and meet other little ones too. With a wide range of hand apparatus, sensory toys and miniature gymnastics equipment, there is lots to try. Once your little one is ready for more structure and keen to progress with their skills, we recommend moving on to our structured preschool gymnastics classes where our experienced and qualified coaches will begin to introduce the foundation skills that we use in our club sessions at Flyers. Please note that this is not a structured class and parents/guardians must supervise their children at all times while following all of the safety rules in the gym.

Gymnastics Class 4-5 years (4 - 5yrs) at Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Green. At Flyers, our Mini Gymnastics classes are designed for children aged 4 years and upwards, primarily for children who have started school and are in Reception. We also welcome confident 4-year-olds who are not yet in school but are comfortable attending a child-only class, can separate from their parent/guardian and are ready to follow a structured class. Our Mini Gymnastics programme provides the perfect introduction to gymnastics, helping little ones develop the fundamental skills they need to become confident Flyers athletes. During each session, gymnasts will work on skills such as jumping, rolling, beginner handstands and cartwheels, while exploring a variety of gymnastics equipment. Alongside learning gymnastics skills, we focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body awareness, while also building confidence, independence, listening and learning skills. Please note: This is a child-only class. Parents and guardians are not permitted to stay in the gym but are welcome to wait in the sports centre reception area for the duration of the class. As your child progresses through the Mini Gymnastics programme and is aged 5 and ready to move on, they can move up into one of our main club sessions, with opportunities to specialise in gymnastics, trampolining or cheerleading. Our aim is to give every young athlete the skills, confidence and foundations they need to safely enjoy gymnastics and continue progressing with Flyers.
