Edinburgh Spanish Club – Beginner (Ages 4+) (4 - 9yrs) at 📍 Southside Community Centre, Edinburgh. A fun and gentle introduction to Spanish for children starting from zero or with very little previous knowledge. Each session includes greetings, colours, animals, emotions and simple everyday phrases taught through games, songs, movement and creative activities. The focus is on building confidence, participation and natural learning in a playful environment. Classes are dynamic, accessible and designed to help children learn Spanish naturally, without pressure and with lots of fun. Perfect for curious little learners beginning their Spanish journey.

Edinburgh Spanish Club – Intermediate (Ages 4+) (4 - 9yrs) at 📍 Southside Community Centre, Edinburgh. A Spanish class designed for children who already understand the language at home but need support to speak more accurately and confidently. These learners can communicate in Spanish, but often make grammar mistakes, mix English and Spanish, or translate literally from English. The sessions focus on strengthening sentence structure, improving grammar, expanding vocabulary and helping children express themselves naturally in Spanish. Through stories, guided conversation, role‑play, games and creative tasks, children practise speaking in full sentences, correct common errors, and develop more fluent and spontaneous communication. This group is ideal for bilingual or heritage speakers who hear Spanish from parents but live mainly in an English‑speaking environment.

🌟 Edinburgh – Spanish Academy (+11) – Interest List (11 - 14yrs) at 📍 Southside Community Centre, Edinburgh. 11–14 yrs Spanish Academy – Interest List 2026–2027 (Edinburgh) This list is for families interested in joining our Spanish groups for older children and teens (ages 11–14) for the upcoming school year (August 2026 onwards). 💛 How we work Our Academy sessions help teens develop real communication skills and confidence in Spanish through: • conversation‑based activities • vocabulary for real‑life situations • cultural topics relevant to their age • short projects and group challenges • optional support for school Spanish We create a relaxed, friendly environment where teens feel comfortable speaking, participating and progressing at their own pace. All levels are welcome. 💛 About the timetable Suggested times: • Saturday mornings from 9:30 • Weekday mornings and afternoons These times may vary depending on venue availability and family preferences. 💛 Next steps Once we have enough families in this age range, we will confirm the timetable and open the official registration links.
