Cheerleading recreational (7 - 8.9yrs) at Sarisbury Infant School, Southampton. in a Cheerleading recreational class the focus is FUN . We teach the basics of cheerleading to include jumps, arm motions, pom dance, basic stunts and tumbles (venue equipment dependant) . We work towards showcases and of course when ready you may want to try out for a competition team. Also complementary included in your subs is access to hours of our pre recorded videos, worksheets and your child's own journal and skill checklist to keep. Classes are on skills so please speak to a coach if unsure what class to attend,

Mini Cheerleading Recreational (4 - 6yrs) at Sarisbury Infant School, Southampton. In a Cheerleading recreational class the focus is FUN . For those new to cheerleading, the primary focus is to have fun whilst learning the fundamental skills. This includes Dance, Tumbling, Stunting, Pyramids and Jumps. DCA'S aim is to coach the athletes skills, teach them a routine and allow them to perform in our January showcase for their friends and family! We use our skill journals (that can be bought from the DCA shop for £5) in class to give your child a visual to tick off skills once achieved and perhaps, to when ready you may want to try out for a competition team.
